PLEASE NOTE: there are special fares available to international travelers for domestic flights within Japan. Here is the link to the special fare page on ANA.

Travel to Kumamoto:

  • If you would like to attend the Sumo match in Fukuoka (courtesy of our sponsor Elton Satsuky and Wilson Sonsini), please book an airline ticket from Tokyo Haneda airport to Fukuoka on Nov. 13 (Wed.) as follows:
    • Depart HND: NH251 (ANA) 11:30 am
    • Arrive FUK: 13:30
    • Note that we will need to purchase shinkansen tickets from Fukuoka to Kumamoto departing after the Sumo match – which we can buy in Japan.
  • If you do not want to attend the Sumo match in Fukuoka, you can fly directly to Kumamoto. Please arrive by Wed. evening, as the conference starts early on Thursday.

Depart to Kumamoto:

  • We will have a breakfast wrap-up meeting on Friday, followed by local sightseeing. If you plan to participate in those activities, our group will be traveling on the following flight:
    • Depart Kumamoto: NH2416 13:10
    • Arrive HND: 14:40
  • Note that you are free to leave Kumamoto earlier on Friday (or later) to return to Tokyo or travel to other destinations if you are not planning to join the breakfast meeting or tour.
  • If you are planning to return to the US on Friday, you will need to make sure you leave early enough to catch your international flight.

If you would like assistance with booking your international or domestic flights in Japan, please feel to call Mr. Yasunori Kudo of ANA Sales America – a travel agency owned by ANA (they are familiar with our conference and can book tickets on any carrier)
